The Bow Invitations T&C’s

By paying a deposit to secure a production slot you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

All orders accepted are subject to these terms and conditions of sale.

Please note that all our items are handmade and colours and materials used may vary from the images or sample produced.


A non-refundable booking deposit of 50% of the total order price will be taken at the time of booking to confirm and secure your date.

The remaining 50% of the balance will need to be paid in full before your order will be made (1 week before booked production slot).

Delay in payment will result in a delay in receiving your order, in some cases this will mean moving your order to the next available production slot which is often 8-12 weeks later.

You may pay by Paypal or via Bank Transfer.

Cancellations, Errors and Returns

Because all orders are personalised with your individual details, refunds and exchanges will only be made if the stationery is faulty or does not meet the specifications of your order.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

We reserve the right to cancel the order at any time until the order has been delivered for any reason and refund the customer in full.


We only accept information for your invites electronically (typed up message/email or word documents).

Handwritten, photographs or screen shots will not be accepted.

You are responsible for the proof reading of all text and copy in the electronic proofs supplied.

We do strongly recommend that you print this pdf in order to view it to the correct size. We will not begin final printing until we have received approval from you referencing the correct proof to proceed with.

Proofs are provided digitally via a PDF document. Please review these carefully and provide me with all amendments required together. 3 rounds of amendments per order are included in the cost, any amendments required after this will be charged at £10 per order. Please note that we cannot accept returns due to customer input or typographical errors. When your final proof is approved you accept responsibility for any errors. If mistakes are discovered after final printers proof approval, we will charge for any reprinting.


Most styles of invitations must be ordered in sets of 25. It is recommended that you order a minimum of 10 extra for keepsakes and any last minute guests.


Final PDF will be send to you for your approval.

Is important to read your PDF once again carefully word by word. Once you are happy with your stationery please replay to us providing your acceptance/approval once has been received your stationery will be printed.

Additional invitations

Any extra invitations ordered after you have received your invitations are subject to a £25 surcharge.

Purchasing smaller amounts of stock is more costly, please order a few extra invitations with your order to avoid paying a higher price should you require more at a later date.


A timeline and estimated completion date will be included in your contract.

Usually takes between 1 – 2 weeks from production slot to dispatch time.

The Bow Invitations will strive to work within this timeline, but it is important for the client to also cooperate in a timely manner.

The Bow Invitations will not be responsible for not meeting deadlines due to delayed client action or response.

Rush Orders

Orders may be considered RUSH if they are needed within a 4 week turnaround. Rush orders are accepted depending on availability and the requirements of the project. Rush orders will add a charge of 15% to your order total. Final payment is due prior to printing.


Delivery is by Royal Mail or by Courier tracked service (DHL, DPD, Hermes).

All of our invitations and reception stationery are very carefully packaged. The Bow Invitations is not responsible for any damages incurred during shipping and/or mailing or invitations that are not delivered. Any shipping charges will be added to your final invoice. You may also pick-up your order to avoid shipping charges (Ellesmere Port, Cheshire).

The Bow Invitations accept orders on the understanding that delivery is subject to availability.

Should an item not be available, the customer will be informed and an alternative offered as soon as possible.
